Very sorry to tell you, Craftsman started making " HAND TOOLS" in China about 10 years ago and slowly migrated to 100% Chinese.
Recently at a Sears tool department I was unable to find any "Craftsman" tools of any kind MADE IN THE USA :M
If I need a Craftsman tool now, I buy new old stock on EBay that is USA made.
