I am one who is sad to see them go but they certainly have not been the same for decades. I have many fond memories of hanging out at my local Sear's as a kid some 50 plus years ago(on Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood, building is still there but set to be demolished)...the smell of Popcorn at the candy counter, looking at the camping tents they always had set up in the summer...it was a place for a kid to dream. I hope there employers fair well in there search for new jobs!
