Recently I was in 3 Sears stores exchanging tools. Without exception they are understaffed. Long lines, outdated and slow registers, untrained staff and VERY limited stock. All signs that they don't care. You should have heard the people in the lines bitching - no question in my mind they won't be back.

What do you think of Husky tools? Seem decent to me and lifetime warranty.
And Kobalt?
Not suggesting they are professional quaity and both probably made elsewhere.
