Most of us stopped shopping at Sears long ago which is why they are in the sad state they are. I prefer to remember the old Sears which has quality products and good customer service ... but I won't miss the Sears that has neither.
x2 Just had an experience with ordering a part for my Kenmore oven from Sears. Bill would have be around $49 but they back-ordered it twice and wife needed the oven so I found the part online for $27 and thought I had canceled the order with Sears. The part showed up from Sears a week after I installed the part from the second company so I had to return the part to Sears. It has been 2 weeks now and I still don't have the credit on my Master Card. Their service is lousy.
