I haven't been able to find a high-amp, 24v, mutistage charger. Anybody know of one?
Say 40amp? What do I need for 160aH 24v?
I took a quick look but saw nothing. It's been a couple years since I spent hours at Amazon, looking for a good charger. It's a slow job, because most chargers don't list aH on the search results page nor at the top of the product page -- have to wait for whole page to load, search through the 'questions answered' and the reviews for the info, etc.
So if anybody actually KNOWS of one, that would be cool.
Or if anyone can tell me why the best LOCAL battery guy is wrong when he says charging separately is optimal.
I spent $160 on a fancy charger that lets me charge them separately, multiple batteries at the same time, because I was told that was the best thing to do. It's fairly rude for folks now to now accuse me of not caring about my batteries.
Does the charger you have work? If so you are gonna change it because a stranger says so? Look in a perfect world perhaps life could be longer.maybe. LEARN about what your batteries need to signal charged as an example some AGMs are concidered fully charged when at the correct voltage the amps drop to 1/2 of an amp. So what you REALY need is correct info and a volt/amp meter.
