Getting back on topic:
What exactly will happen if my batteries are topped off unevenly with solar for a week when boondocking, and then evened out when I get somewhere with a pedestal?
Is it really worse than leaving them half-charged all week?
I am used to charging them to 100% every day that I use them, but I see folks here talking about charging to 90%... or not charging at all, when boondocking.
And what exactly will happen if I charge them on 12v charger when connected in series? I have done that a lot in the past few years -- ever since I was told it was best for the batteries.
People here are now saying it is bad but not saying WHY.
Observe: I bend over backwards to take excellent care of my batteries, according to what I know. Teach me, and then I will know more.
