Thank you, everybody :).
Westend, I had forgotten about that site and it's a great one. I need a refresher course!
As for solar vs. genny, and not having money for both, I had decided on definitely solar -- then due to veterinary emergency and heat wave, I lost a month to set it up. Am back to internal debating. Only a few weeks left before I need the power. I can fit 360w solar easily and 480w if I have time to rig up a mount for the fourth panel. But I don't think I can get more batteries and be under GVW.
Is genny power always clean enough for electronics? Like, if I get a cheap construction style one? The ones I have met are LOUD, but maybe they have improved over the years? There are also a couple of used RV Onans on local CL. Should I consider one of those? Would they be electric start? OK out in the rain, under a tarp on hitch carrier? Would running a genny while it is on the hitch carrier cause a ton of vibration where carrier slides into hitch, and is there a better solution than hammering metal shims in?
Golly. Not an option I had thought of. Would 'smart' chargers put up with being wired together? :: scratches head ::

Say 40amp? What do I need for 160aH 24v?
