I just get the Willies, seeing motor temperatures climb, fans sound like a mountain lion in heat and my 5-minutes to brew coffee maker takes 9- minutes on a MSW. A 16-minte baked potato might as well get cooked in an oven. MSW is OK for some things IMHO but they sure waste energy.

Sometime when you are tinkering measure the amperage required to run a 40-watt table fan
