My sewer connection under the trailer is about 2 feet in. I don't squat well anymore and have to get on my knees to take the cap off and hook up the sewer hose. I'm thinking about cutting and replacin...

I wonder if a heat gun on a low setting would be enough to loosen the glue without damaging it & remove the existing hook-up and extending it as needed ?
Forgot about that, you're right, once that stuff is applied it welds to the components.
