AC power sagged to 22 volts a couple days ago. Blew some lithium and NiMH chargers. The cheapo and the WFCO shrugged it off. The Lifeline and Samlex did their job and it was only after the transformer rectified Endless Breeze started spinning at 30 RPM did I notice the burnt-umber-outage was underway.
I've been doing scans on the open-chassis WFCO with an IR. No way in hell in the OEM fan going to keep an enclosed WFCO cool enough for my taste. Second fan gets added tomorrow.
Stupid crippled left hand stops me from soldering-in swapping genuine 10-turn cermet pots in place of the .00002 cent OEM cheapo pots. Gotta find an electronics place that I trust to do the job right. Need to find some 1/4"X20 1/2" screws for the rectifier. Poco a poco. I am playing jump-rope with a new-to-me Galaxy phone. It's winning.
