The RO4 series of relays from NTE only come with coils rated from 12 to 110VDC, and from 12 to 240VAC. No idea what the DC rating of the 110VAC coil would be, but 170VDC could well be too much.
Anyway, I'm not going to change anything right now.
But if I did, I'd probably just switch shore power to the NC contacts. The inverter doesn't go through the EMS so having relay chatter shouldn't be an issue there.
And I may get an email back from Prog Ind with other suggestions after the Holidays. Will report back here if I do.
