... If anyone has any suggestions for any other converter that will charge at 14.8 and equalize at 15.5, please let me know. I realize that some may disagree with Trojan's recommendations but since they manufacture the batteries I feel I should follow those recommendations....

Do you want it to do float as well?
Are you willing to babysit it?
Will you have easy physical access to the converter?
Backwoodssolar sells an IOTA 55 that charges at 14.8 or 15.4. Or any point you want them to set. They accomplish it via a plug in adapter, which we assume is proprietary to them, not to IOTA. IOTA uses the same type of adapter to change their normal 13.6V to 14.2V.

I called and spoke to them. It becomes a single voltage charger, unless you unplug the plug-in thing, in which case it will float at 13.6V. So, plug in, 14.8V till it tapers down to floating amps. Take the plug out, it will run at 13.6V. Too bad someone can't hack the IOTA plug deal, so users could make it do whatever they want.
You will get recommendations for adjustable power supplies. They are not converters, but behave more like the one I just described above. The voltage is user adjustable though.
Whether you use the hot-rodded IOTA, or a Mean Well or Mega Watt or similar power supply, you could use them strictly for 14.8v charging and 15.5V equalizing, otherwise turn them off and let the WFCO do its normal running and floating.
Then there is solar, which with a proper controller can do 14.8 and 15.5 equalize.
