At this point I'm very interested in a Powermax PMBC 55 or 60 with the adjustable voltage option. However, as has been alluded to in earlier posts on this thread, there are different versions of this model.
There's the PMBC-55 sold by Powermax which has 12.5 to 16.5 adjustable voltage, the Boondocker BPCM-60, modified and sold by Best Converter, with 12.0 to 15.5 adjustable voltage, and the PMBC-55 sold by Boat & Rv, said to have 12 - 15 volts adjustable. I can't find a price for the Powermax sold one, the Boondocker lists for $210 on the Best Converter website, and the one sold by Boat & Rv lists for $160 there. Boat & RV never responded to my email of three days ago.
I don't know which option to take. Any suggestions are welcome.
Btw, are these manual units and does that mean each mode must be set individually and manually whe doing a full charge cycle?
This decision has turned out to be far more complicated and difficult than I ever imagined when I began investigating to find out if I should replace the oem WFCO in my new TT, but hopefully I'm near a decision. The advice and information given on this thread had been invaluable.
