IMO the warning about having to use the teeny weeny screwdriver on the teeny weeny voltage pot screw in the cheaper unit needs to be emphasized as to how difficult and annoying that can become. BTDT
The unit with the great big knob costs more but has way more amps too and you don't need a magnifying glass to see what you are doing either.
