shout out to PowerMax

i mentioned in several places that i had not had much luck with powermax, and sent one back in April under warranty

after conversing with Errin at powermax via email

seems it had arrived with no paperwork, or it got lost during the unpacking and login at reciving

he sent me a replacement and even offered me an upgrade to the adjustable model, which i accepted

i've been using it on off several times a week for about three weeks
it has been performing very well, and i'm very happy with this one 'so far'

i even did a kill a watt volt-amps reading on it (for another thread about converters and generators)

i just wanted to let everyone know they will response to customers, and Errin was a pleasure to converse with
he apologized for the delay

  • Good news that got sorted out.

I added a post to that gen vs converter thread today with some more PowerMax numbers using my new Kill-A-Watt gizmo. One is for my 75 amper, same as Mr Wizard's, so comparison is of interest. (It matters which generator you are using it seems, or maybe what else you are running besides the converter to get a lower loaded input voltage.)
