  • I just used a phillips screw driver on the screw located at the front of the head end of the pump.

There is an adjustment for this on these pumps. This happened on a brand new pump, so the dealer called Shureflo, and got the adjustment info. It is a tiny allen screw adjustment some where near where the positive wire connects to the pump. I can't remember the details but the adjustment worked.

youtube ...google the information is out there...just adjusted on my new trailer...had to do the same on my old trailer when it was new.

  • There's either:
A leak in the plumbing or
The pumps check-valve is bad or clogged or
There's debris in the pump head.

I have fixed several of these by simply taking the head apart and rinsing the parts off under clean water. They all worked fine after reassembling.
  • You likely have a drop in line pressure or a leak somewhere telling the pump to turn on, or a bad check valve that is pumping water into the fresh water tank.
