Shurflo pump switch!

I'm an Electrical Engineer, and have a bad pressure regulator switch on my Shurflo water pump.

I looked all over the net to find the switch, but could only find the complete head assembly for over thirty bucks!

I found the (almost) same switch at Allied Electronics for less than two bucks!

The "almost " part is that it has a normally open contact that can easily be broken off with a pair of pliers.

This switch has a rating of twice the original, and fits perfectly!

Allied P/N: 7120159.
  • Would it be possible for you to share the link to the switch's page? I tried searching Allied's site without any luck.

As well as the model pump

2005 year RV so if water pump is OEM it is probably one of their 'discontinued' models (Classic Series or Extreme Series) making it difficult to find replacement parts (N.O.S. only)

10 yr old water pump.....upgrade to 4008 Revolution or 4048 High Flow

    4008 Revolution----$60

    4048 High Flow---$142
  • How much trouble can one go thru for $30, or even $60 for a complete pump that normally serves trouble free for 10-20 yrs.
Yes, the question seemed to be about the money.

Did that and hated them so bought a FloJet. In the meantime I still have a brand new Extreme that might be pressed into service some day.
