Signal Booster location??

Hello, I have what might be a really dumb question, but bear with me. I have read about being sure to turn the TV signal booster off. I have a 2012 Forest River Puma toy hauler. I have hunted everywhere and cannot find a panel for the signal booster that I have read so much about. Do not all RV's have them? I do have the standard style crank-up antenna. Any ideas where this booster is located? Is it automatic on my camper? Is mine not equipped with one at all? The owners manual is pretty standard, talks about turning it on and off. It even shows a picture of the panel, but nothing about its location. I have looked in all of the obvious places, and have crawled around through this camper quite a bit already, but haven't seen the panel. Any ideas????

  • Our RV is about 15 years old, and I never turn off the power to the antenna amplifier.

As far as I can tell, it still works, and the little red light is on every time I open the cupboard that has all the TV related stuff in it.

The TV Signal Booster Pre-amplifier is up inside the OTA Antenna. The control panel for it is the ANTENNA CONTROL PANEL that looks like this...

Too send 12VDC up to the signal booster amplifier in side the OTA HDTV antenna you push the small push button on the antenna panel which will also turn on a small LED light.

  • And there it was. Small black button hidden behind the cable wire itself. Didn't look anything like the pic in the owners manual. If they had just said the small button on the same panel as the cable outlet it would have been great. Thank you!!!!
  • If you find where the cig lighter plug plugs in to power up a small TV, the tiny pushbutton is usually on the same panel. On my motorhome, the booster was positioned so I could not actually see it unless I used a mirror.

The first time I unscrewed the cable wire, there was the booster button behind the wire.
