Silverado 2500b hd
I have a 07 Silverado classic 2500 hd Duramax single axle what is the difference between that and a 3500 single axle We have 5er that weighs 11400 but the boss wants a new 5er that is 12900 lbs???????...

But you left out the part it was a 6.5TD and couldn't get out of its own way and pulled hills at 30MPH... And there are plenty of Dmax hotshots with 400k mi on a SINGLE motor. Bottom line is you can't compare a 25yr old diesel truck to a new one. A current 2500HD Dmax would blow that old 3500 truck away in EVERY aspect.
