4ish square miles of power equivalent to 1/5ish the power from a single natural gas fired power plant on less than 1ish square mile. Our future?

There's a 444 hectare PV generator just south of Sarnia. Think it was rated at 80MW. In 2010 it was touted as being the biggest one around. Didn't last long, apparently. :C

You assume the NG plant sits right on top of the well. Anyway the world has lots of land that gets plenty of sun and little else. Now if they start clear cutting a rain forest for solar it would be a shame.

OR........All that heat coming from those dark panels. How is that not contributing to global warming? No one seems to thing through the whole process. An the beat goes on.

I'm pretty sure they're aware that the open oceans are just a bit bigger than any solar farm. Since a moderator made the opening remark, this can now become a political post.

Actually are already past the first stop as they exceed hydro. Getting past nuclear should not be be long with virtually zero growth in that area.
