The replacement fan looks like it may have eliminated that circuitry but is riveted together so I can't tell. Not all MSW inverters are the same. The Tripp-lites are industrial inverters with a large transformer and cleaner sine wave. As I said, there is a big difference between using it and the PowerBright MSW inverter we used last year.
