The evaporator fan in my Frigidaire had electronic circuitry in the fan casement which smoked the very first day of use with my Xantrex 458 MSW inverter. The replacement fan looks like it may have eliminated that circuitry but is riveted together so I can't tell. I'm not too excited about finding out the hard way again, at least not until it is not in use.
Not all MSW inverters are the same. The Tripp-lites are industrial inverters with a large transformer and cleaner sine wave. As I said, there is a big difference between using it and the PowerBright MSW inverter we used last year.
