I could of gotten another year or 2 out of the pair of GCs, but I let the water get too low and exposed the top of the plates not 1 time, but twice.
What I started doing when I had it at home, was using a timer and only charging it for 15 to 30 min. a day. There is no reason to constantly leave it plugged in especially if you don't have any parasitic loads.
