Single big battery v/s 2 batteries in parallel

Due to size limitations of the battery tray on the frame of my travel trailer, I can fit 2 smaller batteries side by side, or one big battery. So, which would be better? Get 2 batteries and put them...

I doubt it matters that much.

The bigger question is: do you dry camp? If not, get the cheapest 12v battery you can find.
