Is it worth it getting a 2nd one.. Well for starters you have about 100 amp hours at the 20 hour rate.. (That is the capacity of a Group 27 95-105 depending on the make and age).
Now. To answer your question: Are you running out of power before you run out of quiet time when camping? IF so the answer is YES.
Or you could "Upgrade" to a pair of GC-2's (That is over twice the Amp Hours for only slightly more cost plus being true deep cycles you can run 'em down to half full before serious damage happens, on your Marine/Deep cycle, or other starting battery... Well serious damage is already happening before you get down to 50%)
Or you could put the two GC-2's (in series I might add) IN alongside the G-27 and then you'd have over 300 amp hours, Though if you run it down to half the G-27 may due young.. That said.. Mine did fairly well.
On this coach I started with a pair of GC-2.. Added in two G-31 AGM's and later a G-29 and a G-27 Marine/Deep cycle, these last two were OLDER than the RV.
The AGM's were handled by a seperate 12 volt circuit set for them specifically.
They were the first to die (in 2011)
The rest of the Marine/Deep cycles went in 2012 (Fall) and 2013 (Summer)
The GC-2's at eight and 1/2 years JUST died (Shorted cell) and have not yet been repalced.. That will happen about March I suspect. Or April.
