Single big battery v/s 2 batteries in parallel

Due to size limitations of the battery tray on the frame of my travel trailer, I can fit 2 smaller batteries side by side, or one big battery. So, which would be better? Get 2 batteries and put them...

The Interstate GC2's I bought are 77lb each. I'm still hurting 2 weeks later. Too old for this crap.
