The answer as to whether one larger box or two separate boxes is preferable depends on which allows best utilization of the space available. Soon I'll be reorganizing my trailer tongue, moving the two propane tanks further back and mounting the battery or batteries in front of them, just aft of the tongue jack. The battery closest to the tanks is actually going into a lockable tool box I've selected that is large enough to hold a G31 battery. In front of that I still have space to mount a G31 battery box that will hold either my fresh water transfer pump or a second battery, a decision I'll make later based on our needs as the camping season progresses. Now only if this crappy "winter" weather will leave! :M - opnspacesNavigator III use separate boxes on my trailer.
- Boon_DockerExplorer IIII use a "2 battery" box, that way everything is nice and neat in one box.
- Most I see try to fill all batteries in one box.
