I know of no mechanical relay that would eat less than 24 amp hours daily. I am building the relay at 100 amperes capacity but never expect to get anywhere near that. Not even a half. Probably at most a third.
A mechanical relay with a neodymium magnet hold-in, a screw jack and motor would be ideal for rarely switched loads.
The
Intellitec latching relays are good for 100 amps, and draw zero volts until you actually switch them.
