skirt damage

Mowing the lawn and scraped the aluminum skirting in front of the wheel well it has a pretty deep scratch as well as a good dent. I've been looking on line to try to find a replacement part but don't seem to be able to find any parts stores other than everyday parts (wheel covers etc.)

Does anyone have a good source-online?

Make and model are in my sig.

Thanks for your help

Good luck. I had a pole jump out in front of me in our 2 week old unit. Dented the skirting. Just got the estimate from the dealer last week - $749. The piece was less than $100 but shipping was $200 for the freight, $75 for the crate. 3 hours labor and some misc supplies (caulk, tape, etc).

    OUCH!

Yeah the funny thing was that our deductible was the same as the repair cost.

  • Ours was white so it didnt seem that much of an issue, but got the dealer to do it, it is a 2015 so didnt want to mess with a new rv that much. Good thing is that you cant tell it was repaired it looks that good, right down to the warning labels.

Its called RV J wrap , you can order it online but it comes as a length of it, and you use the original as a template. I found it was easier & not much more expesive by getting dealer to do it. It cost me $500.00 CDN all in to get mine repaired. It has to be crated up for delivery and makes shipping costly I took it out on a hard packed snowbank last winter

How do you match the original color?
