Sleep Number Mattress

Hi. not sure if this is the best location for this topic, but I need a new mattress and we are considering a Sleep Number. My concern is what voltage the Sleep Number system operates off. Then the other concern is, once the "number is set", meaning it's adjusted to the setting we want for the night, will it stay there with out drawing anymore electricity. The way my wife and I travel we seldom have 110v as we dry camp. I don't have an inverter at this point. I do intend on having a generator for emergencies, but I would consider it a bother to fire up the generator to adjust the mattress each night before turning in.

Thanks!

  • Remember, Sleep Number has beds designed just for RV's. So, make sure you ask for the RV style Sleep Number bed. Doug
  • We have one in the RV and one in the house. The system works with 120v AC. The pump is only needed when adjusting the pressure. The pressure will probably need to be adjusted whenever you change elevation.
  • Good Morning
We have a sleep number and its strictly 110V. Also, We seem to need to buy a new pump every 1-2 years because they start leaking. Would I buy another one? probably not.
