Slide Adjustment advice?

I have a 2010 Keystone Cougar 244RLS. It has one slide on the drivers side of the 5er.

Last spring I noticed the wood on the bottom was dragging on the floor inside the Rig. I ordered a roller from Keystone that's about 1" tall and figured I could lift the slide up with the adjustment bolts and put the roller in.

Well... I raised the slide up about 5/8" this afternoon and it made no difference. It's still dragging and I wasn't able to lift the center up enough to get the roller assembly in - yet (I think a floor jack and a 2x4 across the bottom might be in my future).

Is there any sort of documentation that's out that describes how the adjustments on the slide affects the direction of the slide?

Thanks!

  • Roy,

Thanks. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Counter intuitive but I'll give it a shot! :)

    Again, thanks so much!

  • You need to lower the outside to get more floor clearance, not raise it.
