Started another topic just about getting that bolt out as I'm having no luck. As you can imagine, many opinions. But one person is saying you have to lift the slide to take weight off the mechanism and then the bolt comes out easily. While I'm not seeing how that causes the problem, I am believing it's true because nothing else has worked. Any thoughts on a simple way to lift the slide and do you think I can get away with lifting it just enough on that side to take weight off the pinion gear?
