My slide has quit working a few times and here's what was wrong:
Usually it was a very tiny circuit breaker had tripped. My circuit breaker is located near the control unit for the slide which is near the battery compartment and fuse panel. The circuit breaker is black, about an inch and a half long with two wires hooked to it . The reset is a small micro switch; when you push it, it doesn't feel like it does anything but it will reset the breaker.
One time one of the wire connections at the motor had come loose. The wire nut holding the connection together came off. I put on a new wire nut and all has been OK since.
