Hello I have a 2016 newmar canyon star. My front large slide out won't come in unless I push from the outside while my wife holds the button. Once it moves about 6 inches it goes the rest of the way...

You may need to reprogram the slide controller or update it with a new model. I was having a similar issue with my kitchen slide in my 2016 BSS. Upgraded the controller to a newer revision and have not had any more issues. The programming process teaches the controller how much energy it needs to move the slide. (My understanding)
