I have the same camper as ktmrfs, except 2 years newer (2013 - 298RE). About the only difference is they put a closet slide in the bedroom. Other than that, the floor plan and slides are the same. Bottom line, never had any problems with the slides at all. This is the first camper we've had with slides. I was skeptical about getting one with slides. But after having one now, and after 3 years of ownership...all is well.
