Small Gen Opinions ? UPDATE--Should I Switch?

I'll go today and see if this store even has any, if they are discontinued. They are in next week's flyer, but that is nationwide AFAIK.
Scenario worry--in a few days of camping might only need it once, and that is if there is no solar because of overcast--which happens a lot though.
That three hours of 20 amps = 60AH is fine, but you can get the same AH from carrying along an extra 100AH battery and running it down to 40%. About the same size as the gen too. If you used the gen twice, you would need to carry a gas can. Never done that--very leery about where to carry it with the TC. (The Honda 3000 is in the truck bed when using the 5er, so it gets filled when the truck gets gas. No gas can to carry.)
Spec says to use 15W40 oil. I suppose I can find that somewhere. What happens if you use 10w30? Got lots of that.
