They have lots of these 500s on the shelf. I bought one today and can get the sales off refund next week when the sale actually comes on.
They are happy with me trying it out, and if it won't run my battery charger, I can return the gen as long as I dump out the gas and oil I put in it.
I found some 15W40. Now running the trailer batteries down so there will be enough room for charging them up again testing this little guy. Be this afternoon before the batts get down that far, at 44 amp draw now from a full set of four 6s.
"Sound box"--dog crate with blanket? Upside down laundry basket with blanket? Put the gen in the truck on the floor behind the front seats with the back windows cracked open to let the extension cord and smoke out and fresh air in?
