Yes, I will keep it, since it does the job. I will also take it along in the 5er as an extra, since I have the thing might as well use it. The Honda 3000 can run about 155 amps of charging, with my chargers, so this will let me go to 175 amps if I want if I throw in a Vector. Tee hee :)
The main thing is to take the pucker factor out of going off grid in the truck camper with no gen and it stays overcast so no solar. Solved! :)
BTW, I know that some would choose a higher watt gen for this, but with all the dog stuff going in the truck and slide-in camper, (three-sometimes four dogs--three Shelties and a Border Collie) there is just no room for a bigger gen, like there would be for many folks with TCs, who would take say a Honda 1000 instead.
Note, sometimes the dog events are where there is no room for the 5er, so that's why we got the old TC and renovated it.
