Thanks anyway. :) Local PA had a dozen in stock but all were boxed so I couldn't actually lay eyes on one :( ... did pick one up though and was so surprised at how light it is. :E Your numbers however confirm this little 500 watt model just wouldn't be enough for my situation so great deal as it may be I decided to pass, but at least I now know for sure a 1000 watt version is the smallest that would suit my purposes.
