"A" as used in db(A) refers to A-weighting used in sound measurement. No need to concern yourself, all generator noise measurements will be A-weighted.
I've seen a few YouTube videos of this genset running under load and I'd eat my hat if it measures just 57 db(A) @ 23'. :R
