I also own a like-new EX1000 with a very few hours on it. It's heavier and louder - but great for such tasks around home as powering an electric leaf blower all the way along our long driveway - while moving the EX1000 along in a wheelbarrow.
The EX650 is great for charging the RV batteries. If I had one - it should power about a 35 amp multi-stage charger just fine. As it is, I can use the EX650 to charge the batteries via the stock coach converter in parallel with an ancient portable Sears charger/starter switched to it's 50 amp "engine start" position.
