Small space heater

Anyone recommend a small electric space heater for chilly nights when we have FHU ... don't need much, just heat a 16x8 RV ,,, not looking to save a buck, just want a good quality, dependable heater, quiet fan. Will be used mostly for shower time, when it's a little colder out, but not enough the fire up the propane wall heater...

Any advice - brands, model # --- thanks

We keep one of these in the trailer...does well for a small space.

And noisy as all get out. :(

A ceramic heater is one item I'd never buy online - you gotta go to the store and listen to it. A noisy fan that's barely noticeable during the day will sound like Niagara Falls in the middle of the night when you're trying to sleep so the less noise the heater makes, the better. For those who prefer a little white noise while sleeping run a small fan on low - it will also help to better distribute that warm air generated by the heater. :B
  • Parabolic dish heaters work by focusing infra-red waves. The theory actually works. These heaters deliver heat that warms objects as well as warm the air. Not ideal for everything but nice to know they do what they do.
  • This one works well in a small space:

  • I use a Broan "Big Heat" 1500/1200 watt elec. heater. It's compact size is easy to store, yet it put's out a lot of heat. It measures
6"x6"x5". It is available thru TWEETY's RV supplies on-line,cost is $58.80. Part No. 6201
