So what's all this solar battery stuff anyhow ?

Here we are with the first of several posts concerning solar design. before I go any further, let me say that most of the information in my posts will relate to off grid stationary solar installation ...

Not mentioned for lithium is that they have no extended absorption phase so all your solar is absorbed until batteries are full. In contrast lead-acid has a long absorption time and may not fully charge on solar requiring use of the generator once a week. Partial charging is fine for lithium, even preferred.
