Ah, MPPT vs PWM again :)...
Have no PWM to compare, but MPPT works very well as long as there is a lot of sunshine. I would believe that it does show some boost over PWM then. In low light conditions MPP tracking slows down and I am less sure that it beats PWM then.
Btw, OP: those Y-connectors you only need if you wire in parallel. Solar Blvd have same 120W panels without Y, exactly $1 cheaper.
To get 12V I would be wiring in parallel correct???
