so true.
More "on" time would lower your average voltage back up the IV curve from Voc. Lower voltage, same watts = more amps.
An ordinary PWM controller also supplies more amps in the afternoon when the battery doesn't use them all, for running loads (actually the loads get the amps available then the battery gets anything left)
But the PWM has no "tracker"
So however it does that, the MPPT controller ought to be able to do it without using its tracker. ?
