Like I said :) - wait for another 250W panel to fall of the truck and buy MS 45.
For mere 250W I too would be reluctant to spend $220 on MS 15, plus remote temp sensor, plus network adapter, plus (possibly) their expensive meter or at least some digital Ebay meter, unless he has a proper system monitor already.
Charging profile of MS 15 is better than Eco, no doubt.
It's worth researching that Ebay "clone of the clone" - the Eco-looking MPPT with adjustable Abs time. Hard to tell who is copying who in China.
