well I was successful camping with the panel as a portable. Easy to set up. We had a nice spot along the woods and lake right behind us. Kind of like our own little back yard..
It was cloudy though for day two. Day one we got there with fully charged batts..
Even in full overcast I was cranking out 5 amps. On day two I did give a boost with my trucks alternator jumper cable modification I did.
I was down to 12.5 volts both nights with heat set to 68 as it was chilly. Heat may have kicked on 4 times during the night but not sure.
I belive I will intall and inverter soon that I can plug the camper into and utilize all outlets.. Thats another story as I have some questions about that.
Anyway here is my stay at spruce run state park NJ.. Site 42..no hook ups..
Oh and sun finally came out the day we left.. Pulled out around 12 pm .. I was cranking 17 amps at 11:30 am.. The solar was the last item I packed up...
So in summary that eco worth is worth every penny and performs fine for my use..
Full clouds 4-5 amps...
17 amps at 11:30 am..
The lake was beautiful.. Click for 20 sec video of spruce run reservoir..
