As I said early on
It's a VERY good idea to always have an isolation device switch/fuse/breaker on both sides of the solar controller. IMHO a "proper" installation always has these isolation devices in one form or another.
One of many examples in addition to maintenance issues.
I shut off my rigs flat mounted array when using a remote/portable array to get power from the sun. The controller's tracking algorithm gets a bit confused when the top panels are in total shade aka dark (inside the summer shed or camping in the shade)and the remotes are producing power.
PS _ Note for BLF yes the rig has a MPPT controller

Have you had a chance to do any data capture using the MSVIEW application?
Too bad that model does not offer an Ethernet interface
