Might second-guess the panel choice now for sure doing PWM where Isc counts, not voltage into amps like MPPT does? I am not at all sure what this really means but might be worth checking into (if not too late!)
I have been noticing how some panels have way high voltage and low amps for the same wattage as others with more amps and less voltage.
Here is a comparison in specs between a Sun panel and the OP panel, both 150w: Sun, OP
Voc- 21, 23
Isc- 9.58, 8.95
Vmp- 17.2, 19.1
Imp- 8.72, 7.85
I am guessing the high voltage OP one would be better with MPPT and the other would be better with PWM. I do know that with PWM I get Isc or I want to know why not, so higher Isc rating to me is superior.
It would be good to have some correct info on this topic and not be guessing.
