All the vents have covers...and I'd prefer to keep them. I know this won't be an "optimized" system because there are other things I'd prefer not to change, but that's part of why I splurged on a lot of watts for the roof.
We tend to move a lot, so I don't want to feel like I have to tilt. I am contemplating some sort of mounts that would allow tilt in future or tilt if I feel like it when we are someplace for a longer period in the spring/fall when the sun is lower. If anyone has suggestions for mounts, I'm all ears!
Now, what's the consensus on Version 2? Does that look better to people? What about the back left panel - should I slide it to the rear like that away from the AC? Or move it forward behind the front left panel? As shown below it is above a 3" high vent.
I'd suggest that you decide on panel height and then do a 360 degree rotation considering sun angle which might effect your decision on panel height.
But even if they are mounted close to the roof you have a good layout. And you can add another panel next to the AC and then another over the refer vent, OK have to raise that one to clear.
What are you going to do with the batwing? You could mount a lower antenna in the back and run a coax up to the batwing coax.
