2oldman, you don't lose sleep over something you don't have when you know that you don't need it. Batteries floating before noon, getting to full before sunset, whatever remains out there in the sky doesn't bother me. As long as you can get it to full on most days.
One useful reminder from these graphs - forget about panel watts rating. All you can get at sea level, is NOCT rating.
